My diary ✨

  Today in the last day of teaching teaching practice.we have an emotional attachment to the school environment and Students. We share our experience and give gifts to our teachers and always grateful for them. Also we give  sweets to the children . After 3:30 p m we have con official meeting in which everyone share their experience.

  Today the St.johns model HSS school has organised the Christmas celebration. It was my first experience as celebrating Christmas in a school as a training teacher. The students and teachers in the school work tirelessly to make this celebration a success.In the morning there will be a formal session,then the students conducted Christmas carol, songs, drama, and dance. It was a different experience for me . The school was decorated very well and everyone enjoyed a lot.

  As part of BEd curriculum,we need to make an innovative work ,  during our teaching practice. My innovative work is a model based on the topic "Quadrilateral". Models in mathematics play a pivotal role for effective learning. My innovative work is a model based on quadrilateral shapes and its properties . The model has 3 main components , name of quadrilateral, shapes and the properties. The model is a square box containing  different sections and the figures and properties are pasted in a moving stick.  The working model functions under the following manner:  first we need to hide all the names and properties of the model by rotating the sticks. Then call A student to rotate the first two sticks and read the properties and understand the major features. Similarly there are 6 quadrilaterals and its properties square, rectangle parallelogram, rhombus, trapezium and isosceles trapezium.   The ISRO exam had conducted at St Johns model higher secondary school, Nalanchira. We had the charge of exam invigilators.It is a first time experience for me as an invigilator.

  Today, we conducted a yoga session for the students of standard 8 B. First I explained the importance of yoga and exercise in our daily life and how it helps to maintain a good health. Today I teach the ' Pranayama ' for the students. Everyone obey my instructions and  practice the yoga.
