 The second class of KTET Training programme organized by English association 'EMRYS' has done today . The class starts at 11:00am and ends in 12pm. The class was taken by Jaison. Today's session focused on one word substitution related to fear, Killing and Manias, Government etc. The class is very effective and useful for competitive examinations. 

  On 27th june 2023, Physical Science association  LUMIERE has conducted a programme called ' RAISE YOUR VOICE ' in connection with International day against drug abuse and human trafficking.   The programme was a one minute speech competition in Malayalam .  One member from five optionals and MEd students have participated the competition. Ranjitha R J from Social science be the winner of the programme and Haritha from Malayalam and father from MEd department won the second and third prizes.

 Today we celebrate the 67th Theophilus dayin Mar theophilus training college. His Grace Jacob Mar Theophilus on 27 th june 2023 as Mar theophilus day. The chief guest was Rev. Dr. Jolly Karimbil. Father Thomas kayyalaykkal and Rev.Dr. Jolly karimbil have inaugurated the programme.  The programme was organized by AICUF club  In association with IQAC in Mar Theo philips training college.   Today's main attraction was the talk of Rev.Dr. Jolly Karimbil about the topic ' Teacher Excellence '. His class was so informative and give a brief idea about Jacob Mar Theophilus, the founder of our college. His contribution to education was remarkable and he serve unconditionally. He was the disciple of Rev.Mar Ivanios. His talk gives the idea about the relationship between teacher and students, present social scenario, imitation of western culture, characters of a good teacher,etc. He presented the session in a pleasing way.  On 26 june 2023 , the Mathematics association  ' HESTIA ' has organized a musical drama again st drug abuse . Today is international day against drug abuse . So our programme aim to give an awareness among the students on the danger of using drugs through a musical drama. The musical drama tells the consequence of drug addiction and how to destroy a person's  body , mind and spirit. Besides it badly affect the relationships. We prepare the drama in a short  short span of time . So we all have the fear to perform it very well. But we perform very well and everyone appreciate us. Our principal Dr.Joju john sir specially congratulate us . The musical drama has an impact on everyone and they get the right awareness about the topic.

June 26 is the international day against drug abuse. Mar theophilus training college has conducted an awareness programme on the topic " Preventing drug addiction". The resource person was Vinod Vikramadithyan, Sub inspector of police and a former student of our college.  The session was started at 9:30 am. Our principal explains  a brief summary about him. Vinod  Vikramadithyan sir has inaugurated the programme.  Then we move on to the main session, the orientation class. I feel very fortunate that l had the opportunity  to attend his class. Because the class was so effective. He explain the present scenario on the basis drug addiction in students. His way of communication was not in a formal way. So everyone was enjoyed a lot and we don't get bored. He explains different varieties of drugs that present in our society and he emphasis the major after effects of drug consumption. He portrayed a clear picture about the drugs namely -  Cocain ,MDMA, Mushroom etc. The session

  On 19 june 2023 , Mathematics association 'HESTIA'  has organized a reading day programme named "Mozhi". The programme was inaugurated by Reghu Sir , M.Ed department. The programme aim to improve the reading and speaking skills among students. We set the competition into two rounds. Before going to the programme we classify the students into five groups. ROUND 1 Round 1 is a comprehension round. We give an English passage to each group and instruct them to read carefully. The time period allotted was five minutes. After they read the passage we give a couple of related questions to check their precision in reading.  ROUND 2 Round 2 focused on Malayalam  speking skills.   Members from each group has to participate this session. They deliver a one minute speech in Malayalam related to a topic that they select through taking lot.  The students are selected for this session  in an strange manner. Because 5th group will decide the students from 1st group for the competit

 The Social Science department has started a value added course for B Ed students in Mar theophilus training college. The value added course is a certified course to help the students to learn  several disciplinary subjects other than our optionals . Today's class was taken by Sandra Rajeevan from Social Science about  Taj Mahal. The class was so nice  and ee get more information about the Taj mahal and its historic back ground. Also  the session give the idea about the Builder, symmetrical characteristics and related facts about Taj Mahal.

 Language efficiency is an important role in teaching learning process. Effective communication skills will empower us to create an innovative teaching strategy. Today the English association has started a programme  to help the students to learn english and help in competitive examinations. Today's session is about 'Substitution by a single word'.The class was taken by Radhika from English department. The class was so nice and I feel very useful. Because in any competitive examination , English is a compulsory language. So we need to learn more and acquire proficiency in English language.After the session there is a questioning part was there to check our memory level and learning capacity.

 The Natural science department along with IQAC has conducted a dry day awareness programme to give information about diseases in the present scenario. Today ,23 june 2023 is considered as dry day to eradicate the black water reservoirs especially the carries of mosquitos. The talk was quite informative. We the budding teaches ,must aware of these kinds of diseases and give awareness to  the younger generation .

 June 21 is considered as world music day.Music is a way of communication. The most beautiful feature of music is the purification of soul. Everything around us is musical from heart beat to the music in the environment.The birds are singing in a melodious way that help to create a rhythmic nature. The M Ed batch 2022-24 association 'SIA' Conducted a musical competition named 'Symphony '. The competition was so entertaining.A group of Two members from each optional had participated in  this competition . The competition has three rounds. Each round is music related sessions. The competition was so interesting and the audience has also the opportunity to participate to the competition.  Krishnakumar and Ranjitha from Social Science Department are the winners of today's competition .

 Today is a very special day for us.Because today is celebrating international yoga day and world music day.Today's assembly was conducted by  social Science department. The assembly was multilingual. Malayalam, tamil,hindi,urdu,english languages are included in this assembly. It was a new experience for us. This assembly represent a symbol of  national integration . Social Science department introduce a new program  to promote national integration. The college radio telecast a song in everyday at 11 am in different languages.

  June 21 is considered as international yoga day. Yoga purifies the body,mind and spirit. Mar theophilus training college has celebrate the yoga day on 21 july 2023.The program was conducted at 2:30pm to 3:30pm at college auditorium. The Session was inaugurated by Dr.James .T Joseph,Principal of  Sarvodaya Vidhyalaya, Nalanchira,trivandrum.   The yoga session was so inspiring.Because he explains the importance of practicing yoga in our life.After the formal meeting ,we engaged in yoga practicing session.

Mttc has organised a Rangoli competition on 15 june 2023 based on the topic G20.   Its a new experience for me, Because today l realise rangoli making is tough competition. Our friends work tirelessly to show their best, that would encourage me so much. All the six groups made their best version of rangoli. Their creative thoughts and efforts are remarkable.The first prize goes to  lakshmi and navya from english optional ,second prize goes to Krishnakumar and arya from social science optional and third prize goes to Devika and sruthi from natural science optional.

We celebrate june 5 as world environment day.So this month is considered to be a month of environment protection . The mathematics association HESTIA 2022-24 along with IQAC Organised a seed distribution ceremony on 14 june 2023.  

 An exceptional exhibition was conducted by our senior on 6 june 2023.All the students from each department participate in this event and shows their creative thoughts and talents. Models ,posters ,charts puzzles are included.

 Our first capacity building program in second semester was conducted in 13 june 2023. The resource person was Dr.jibi sir.The topic of discussion was Stress management.The session was one of the most inspiring and eye opening for all the student.The class was very interesting and all the students co operate very well and give a positive feedback.As a budding teacher we all had an idea about empathy and how we handle the emotional aspects of student.Also we get the idea about controlling stress and channeling it in an appropriate way without causing danger to the individual.
