Chess Tournament 2022

 


The physical education department  of Martheophilus training college has conducted a chess tournament for students. Principal Benedict sir has inaugurated the programme.

 Chapter : Equal triangles  My innovative model is based on the chapter 'Equal triangles' in 8th standard. The model is a summary of the first chapter to recollect and analyse the major facts learned  in an innovative way. The model consist of two parts - First part is the content board and the second part is the spinning  octagonal prism. In the content board with eight contents are written in eight colour papers. In the octagonal prism, the eight faces are covered with eight colours and eight contents are written and hide it them with same colours in the content board. Also I have eight colour papers in my hand with the same colors in the board. I called one student to come forward and pick one colour. The student picked the colour paper and I asked him to see the content in the bord with the colour that he picked. Awareness talk on preventing Drug Addiction

June 26 is the international day against drug abuse. Mar theophilus training college has conducted an awareness programme on the topic " Preventing drug addiction". The resource person was Vinod Vikramadithyan, Sub inspector of police and a former student of our college.  The session was started at 9:30 am. Our principal explains  a brief summary about him. Vinod  Vikramadithyan sir has inaugurated the programme.  Then we move on to the main session, the orientation class. I feel very fortunate that l had the opportunity  to attend his class. Because the class was so effective. He explain the present scenario on the basis drug addiction in students. His way of communication was not in a formal way. So everyone was enjoyed a lot and we don't get bored. He explains different varieties of drugs that present in our society and he emphasis the major after effects of drug consumption.
