The pledge - Violence against women

 


We are living in a patriarchal society. Women are not safe. We talk about the need to make change, an equality of both gender.But these discussions will only limited to classroom. We need to make  change in each family.Because family is the building blocks of society. Women's rights and their opportunities must  encourage their family members. Considering them as a minority is a punishable crime. If we educate a women we educate a society.

June 26 is the international day against drug abuse. Mar theophilus training college has conducted an awareness programme on the topic " Preventing drug addiction". The resource person was Vinod Vikramadithyan, Sub inspector of police and a former student of our college.  The session was started at 9:30 am. Our principal explains  a brief summary about him. Vinod  Vikramadithyan sir has inaugurated the programme.  Then we move on to the main session, the orientation class. I feel very fortunate that l had the opportunity  to attend his class. Because the class was so effective. He explain the present scenario on the basis drug addiction in students. His way of communication was not in a formal way. So everyone was enjoyed a lot and we don't get bored. He explains different varieties of drugs that present in our society and he emphasis the major after effects of drug consumption. Rangoli competition

Mttc has organised a Rangoli competition on 15 june 2023 based on the topic G20.   Its a new experience for me, Because today l realise rangoli making is tough competition. Our friends work tirelessly to show their best, that would encourage me so much. All the six groups made their best version of rangoli. Their creative thoughts and efforts are remarkable.The first prize goes to  lakshmi and navya from english optional ,second prize goes to Krishnakumar and arya from social science optional and third prize goes to Devika and sruthi from natural science optional.
