 The second class of KTET Training programme organized by English association 'EMRYS' has done today . The class starts at 11:00am and ends in 12pm. The class was taken by Jaison. Today's session focused on one word substitution related to fear, Killing and Manias, Government etc. The class is very effective and useful for competitive examinations. 

  On 27th june 2023, Physical Science association  LUMIERE has conducted a programme called ' RAISE YOUR VOICE ' in connection with International day against drug abuse and human trafficking.   The programme was a one minute speech competition in Malayalam .  One member from five optionals and MEd students have participated the competition. Ranjitha R J from Social science be the winner of the programme and Haritha from Malayalam and father from MEd department won the second and third prizes.

 Today we celebrate the 67th Theophilus dayin Mar theophilus training college. His Grace Jacob Mar Theophilus on 27 th june 2023 as Mar theophilus day. The chief guest was Rev. Dr. Jolly Karimbil. Father Thomas kayyalaykkal and Rev.Dr. Jolly karimbil have inaugurated the programme.  The programme was organized by AICUF club  In association with IQAC in Mar Theo philips training college.   Today's main attraction was the talk of Rev.Dr. Jolly Karimbil about the topic ' Teacher Excellence '. His class was so informative and give a brief idea about Jacob Mar Theophilus, the founder of our college. His contribution to education was remarkable and he serve unconditionally. He was the disciple of Rev.Mar Ivanios. His talk gives the idea about the relationship between teacher and students, present social scenario, imitation of western culture, characters of a good teacher,etc. He presented the session in a pleasing way.  On 26 june 2023 , the Mathematics association  ' HESTIA ' has organized a musical drama again st drug abuse . Today is international day against drug abuse . So our programme aim to give an awareness among the students on the danger of using drugs through a musical drama. The musical drama tells the consequence of drug addiction and how to destroy a person's  body , mind and spirit. Besides it badly affect the relationships. We prepare the drama in a short  short span of time . So we all have the fear to perform it very well. But we perform very well and everyone appreciate us. Our principal Dr.Joju john sir specially congratulate us . The musical drama has an impact on everyone and they get the right awareness about the topic.

June 26 is the international day against drug abuse. Mar theophilus training college has conducted an awareness programme on the topic " Preventing drug addiction". The resource person was Vinod Vikramadithyan, Sub inspector of police and a former student of our college.  The session was started at 9:30 am. Our principal explains  a brief summary about him. Vinod  Vikramadithyan sir has inaugurated the programme.  Then we move on to the main session, the orientation class. I feel very fortunate that l had the opportunity  to attend his class. Because the class was so effective. He explain the present scenario on the basis drug addiction in students. His way of communication was not in a formal way. So everyone was enjoyed a lot and we don't get bored. He explains different varieties of drugs that present in our society and he emphasis the major after effects of drug consumption.   On 19 june 2023 , Mathematics association 'HESTIA'  has organized a reading day programme named "Mozhi". The programme was inaugurated by Reghu Sir , M.Ed department. The programme aim to improve the reading and speaking skills among students. We set the competition into two rounds. Before going to the programme we classify the students into five groups. ROUND 1 Round 1 is a comprehension round. We give an English passage to each group and instruct them to read carefully. The time period allotted was five minutes. After they read the passage we give a couple of related questions to check their precision in reading.  ROUND 2 Round 2 focused on Malayalam  speking skills.   Members from each group has to participate this session. They deliver a one minute speech in Malayalam related to a topic that they select through taking lot.  The students are selected for this session  in an strange manner.  The Social Science department has started a value added course for B Ed students in Mar theophilus training college. The value added course is a certified course to help the students to learn  several disciplinary subjects other than our optionals . Today's class was taken by Sandra Rajeevan from Social Science about  Taj Mahal. The class was so nice  and ee get more information about the Taj mahal and its historic back ground. Also  the session give the idea about the Builder, symmetrical characteristics and related facts about Taj Mahal.
