DAY 3

 Today is the third day of our internship at St Mary's Higher Secondary school. I arrived at 8:20 am. The morning duty was assigned to the next group of students. I had the math class at 8 B during the second period . The school is conducting an NCC Selection program, so around seven students were absent from the class. Today, I had a good teaching experience as the students listened carefully and gave positive feedback throughout the class. After the lunch barak, I had va substitution class vat 9 V. The students were a bit restless, so I asked them how many of them found mathematics to be a toughest subject. About ten students responded that they did. Then I asked them about mathematics puzzles, and they all showed interest.  I gave them an interesting dot puzzle cand dedicated the entire fifth period  from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm, to finding the Solution. The students very engaged very well try  their best to solve the  puzzle, but no one succeeded. I encouraged them to think from diferent perspectives, but they eventually grew tired. Finally I solved the puzzle for them, and they wese astonished. I left the class at 2:00 pm. At 3:00 pm we went to the canteen and had tea. I was included in the evening duty session, so maintained the students line and we ensured a clear path for everyone. We left the school at 4:30 pm.

June 26 is the international day against drug abuse. Mar theophilus training college has conducted an awareness programme on the topic " Preventing drug addiction". The resource person was Vinod Vikramadithyan, Sub inspector of police and a former student of our college.  The session was started at 9:30 am. Our principal explains  a brief summary about him. Vinod  Vikramadithyan sir has inaugurated the programme.  Then we move on to the main session, the orientation class. I feel very fortunate that l had the opportunity  to attend his class. Because the class was so effective. He explain the present scenario on the basis drug addiction in students. His way of communication was not in a formal way. So everyone was enjoyed a lot and we don't get bored. He explains different varieties of drugs that present in our society and he emphasis the major after effects of drug consumption. He portrayed a clear picture about the drugs namely -  Cocain ,MDMA, Mushroom etc. The session

Rangoli competition

Mttc has organised a Rangoli competition on 15 june 2023 based on the topic G20.   Its a new experience for me, Because today l realise rangoli making is tough competition. Our friends work tirelessly to show their best, that would encourage me so much. All the six groups made their best version of rangoli. Their creative thoughts and efforts are remarkable.The first prize goes to  lakshmi and navya from english optional ,second prize goes to Krishnakumar and arya from social science optional and third prize goes to Devika and sruthi from natural science optional.
